Pst Ayo Oritsejafor To Lead Protest Against Senators Over Child Marriage

President of the Christian
Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo
Oritsejafor, has said that he will
lead Nigerians to protest against the
Senate resolution to amend Section
29 (4) (b) of the 1999 Constitution
under which married underage girls
are deemed to be adults.The
association afrowned former
Governor of Zamfara State Ahmed
Yerima assertion that the proposal
for the deletion of the section
contravened Islamic Law.
Oritsejafor, in a statement, described
Yerima’s argument as offensive,
saying, “It presupposes that Nigeria,
a secular state, is populated only by
Muslims.”
He said, “By the grace of God, I will,
personally mobilise Nigerians and
lead the street protest against this
oppressive and dehumanising
resolution. Why would the Senate,
after voting recoil, simply because of a point of order premised on religious basis? We, Christians, also have Canon Law, which frowns on marriage of girls who are not of age.Christianity abhors such marriages.
The protest will be soon. Finally, I
urge the Yerimas in the Senate to
toe the path of the Holy Qur’an,
which states that one who kills a
person unjustly in effect has killed
everyone and one who saves another, has saved everyone. They shouldsave these girls and Nigerians the agony of having their children married off at ages below 18 by unfavourable legislations.
Thank goodness that we still have someone like him, who can stand up against such obnoxious rule. I believe change would happen in this great nation.

Meet The African Woman Who Became FirstLady In Two Different Countries.

Good morning fellas, meet the African woman who became FirstLady in two different countries. Her name is Graça Machel, she is the third wife of former South African president Nelson Mandela and the widow of Mozambican president Samora Machel. She is the only person in history to have been first spouse of two different African countries, serving as the First Lady of Mozambique from 1975 to 1986 and the First Lady of South Africa from 1998 to 1999. Who knows what will happen if Mandela sleeps in the Lord today, would she port again? Don't worry, if she does, I would sure bring you updates.

Becoming A Success

You probably know someone
who is doing really well for themselves, they have a nice house, nice cars, go on lots of vacations, and wear nice clothes.
Now are you the one who says to
yourself.....
That guy is rich because....

-His parents have money,
-He went to a good University,
-He was born with money,
- He's a good talker.

I think you get the point.
You see if you want to become successful, you can't hate what you want to become.
One of the fastest ways to become
successful is to stop making excuses. Here the D.A.W principle comes in again. You are where you are in life because you choose to be there.
Here's what you need to do today If you really want to be successful,

- Feel good about yourself
- Stop making excuses and get to work
- Be grateful for what you have and happy for others who are already successful.
- Always be learning
- Invest in yourself
- Don't give up when things get tough
So That's my rant for the morning, If you want to put yourself in the
drivers seat, and take charge of your life.
Also the most important thing to consider here is having a backup, a support and that should be your creator. ( Oluwa must be involved in your case. ) Check the scriptures "Mattew 11  vs 28 - 30" and also "Jer 29 vs 11". I tell you, success is God's plan for us, all we have to do is tap into it.

Tips For a Successful Business

It's funny how many people just start
up there own business
and quit almost right away.
It's like they thought it would be
easy and they would just start
raking in money right away. Not the
case.
When it comes to building a
successful business there is own
person
in my mind above all who knows what
it takes.
Legend has it that Colonel Sanders
Founder of KFC heard 1009 "no's"
before he heard his first "yes".
Ok, let me repeat that.
He was turned down one-thousand
and nine times before his chicken
was accepted once!
This man knows that in order to
achieve success you must be willing
to go
through struggles and overcome
obstacles.
When you ask me....
"Tunde what is the one Tip you can
give me to become successful ?
My answer might make you get mad at me,
it's like I am keeping a secret from you lol
I say Never give up no matter how
hard it gets.
You need to persevere if you want to
become a success take a
lesson from
The Kernel and don't be afraid to hear
a few NO's on your way to
the top.
Make it a Awesome day!
See you at the top.

Facade

I woke up late this morning. When I opened my eyes, I was so tired that I couldn't get up because of my running around the previous day. While laying there I decided to go through the files I downloaded yesterday. While doing this, I noticed that some of my neighbours were back and they were arguing about where  they kept their key.
Later they found it, and they kept on with their normal routine. Suddenly a call came through for one of them. The call was from another friend of theirs. While they were conversing, one of them noticed the sound of hens in the background, so they asked him; friend, but you said you live in an estate, how come hens are making noise in the background?
He couldn't give them a convincing answer, so they started yabbing him on phone. He bragged about calling 'em for four mins, but they responded with more tirade and thereby making his mum inclusive in the verbal attack. It was then they referred to his former act of snapping a pic in front of a flat screen tv in another person house, also his act of going from house to house to snap pics for DP.
I was forced to go there, because the tirade has transgressed into the callers family engulfing his parent in such mess. Then I asked myself "why such facade ?" The verbal abuse he got was way to much. But had it been he had presented himself the way he was, there won't be the need for such. And his pride would have remained intact.
This demeaning act is what has prompted me to share my cherished principle called D.A.W principle. This principle is all you need to better your life.
D - Discover Yourself.
A - Accept Yourself The Way You Are,
W - Work On Yourself.

D; Discover who you are truly, know things about yourself,do not wait for others to define you.
A; Accept yourself the way you are, be happy with yourself, feel good about yourself, accept the fact that God wanted you that way for some reasons.
W; Work on yourself, better yourlife, add value to your life, beyond what your background says, or what your certificate says. Look inside of you, and discover what you can do. Stop looking outward, stop comparing yourself with other people.
The above principle is what you need if you fall into that callers  category. Those three steps are easy and simple to take. It would preserve you, make you happy, make you fulfilled and it will spur you to greatness. Try it will, and it will be the best thing that has ever happened to you, because the things to come after applying the principles would add value to your life.
The above has worked for people if we are to look at their life critically. Someone like Jim Carrey. A English actor, a comedian who had a rough life his early days. This also would work for you.
I do not want you to be depressed, shattered, or to have a low self esteem, because God has placed something special in you. Stay focused, look inward and dare the greatness in you. Follow the above principles, better yourself and make this nation habitable.
Peace.

Diary of a disgrunted being.

MY TAKE ON JADED CYNISTS They manifest themselves through disillusionment; Which is a feeling of disappointment, akin to depression which arise from the realization that something is not what it was expected or believed to be, and it's possibly accompanied by philosophical angst. This distrustful attitude is what succeeds experience which is preceded by IDEALISM. Also an emotion of jaded negativity or a distrust of the integrity or professed motives of other people. Their manifestation is often due to previous bad experiences . This set of people often view others as motivated solely by disguised self-interest. In life, they might learned, or even on top of their game. But they lack insight, the discerning spirit and in the end they muddle things up. Cynists attacks personalities of others. They employ the use of other people's word to nail them or bring them down. Silence is the tool against cynists, by not arguing or talking because they only know few things which do not change easily.
